Re: STEP 242
Hi @microelly2 Tomorrow was talking about STEP AP 242 with Yorik when he mentioned this post and the invaluable job you do So, I think there's a need to compare STEP AP 242, especially Product and manufacturing information (PMI) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Product_and_manufacturing_information) p...

Re: Solar diagrams
I understand what you say, and I'm not a programmer, so anytime some friends decided to work on PyFlow or any other Python framework I will help with to choose the best solutions than PyFlow. PyFlow is good and can be part of the solution And about Javascript, I don't say we should work on it instea...

Re: Solar diagrams
It would be awesome exposure if there was a FreeCAD ladybug module it's interesting to check how difficult is it to port a grasshopper plugin to PyFlow. Hopeful if it is simple , we can conquer other plugins too. Dear friends, Instead of focusing on PyFlow (personally, love Python as an archi...

Re: IfcXtreme
Dion suggested Sverchok https://github.com/nortikin/sverchok But I was thinking about a cross-platform like Scratch https://github.com/LLK And a friend suggested this one, Flood https://github.com/pboyer/flood So I think a combination of Scratch and Flood can cause an awesome visual cross-platform I...
Re: IfcXtreme
Thanks Yorik and Kunda1,
It seems that for our solution a dual licensing sounds good. MIT & GPL
IfcDoc is a critical tool for the whole OpenBIM environment

Re: IfcXtreme
I checked Sverchok, so it looks really interesting. Does it work on both desktop and web? Its GPL license won't make any issues if we use their resources inside our open source project? I know GEOMGYM (GEOMETRY GYM) from good old days, years ago, however, GGRhinoIFC "generates IFC models inside...
