Re: Get back into Part WB Sweep edit popup for an existing sweep?

It's not a bug, that's just how the tools of the Part Workbench behave. Many of these tools only show the corresponding task panel once, when you initially launch the tool. After the object is created, if you want to further modify the object, you can only do it from the property editor by changing...

Re: Get back into Part WB Sweep edit popup for an existing sweep?

Select sweep in model tree and and select sweep tool from toolbar again, does it for me! I just tried in 0.18.4 & 0.19 on Win and with the sweep selected, hitting the sweep icon again in Part WB, gets a new sweep started PD WB does have the facility to sweep through other profiles, it's in the Sect...

Get back into Part WB Sweep edit popup for an existing sweep?

I have created a sweep from the Part Workbench where I get this lovely window: FreeCAD_FfGd0OBc0N.png Is there anyway to get back to that window later to edit the sweep? If I double click on an existing sweep, I get this window, which is not very useful: FreeCAD_hD2OwkRIHk.png Essentially, I would l...

Re: Villa Savoye - FC Model

Nice work! Looking forward to the ramps and finishing touches. This would be great content for a video tutorial to show potential of Freecad.

Could also be really nice to import it into Blender and render them out (would be happy to help with this)

How to set up a scripting environment in Visual Studio Code

Hi, I wonder if anyone is using Visual Studio code for writing scripts? If so, what would be a way to bring Freecad's API into VS Code for autocomplete? Is there a way to create live reload once the script would be updated in a specific location?

Help with parametric UV subdvision workflow

I am working on a project at the moment where I want to test Freecad's capabilities. It's for a landscape projects with a series of strips. We've already done a series of concepts in Blender, but the idea is now to create a more parametric model that could eventually be pushed to Revit. Here is how ...

Pavilions and examples from community

I have a potential project of producing some pretty interesting pavilions/pods for a bicycle brand and I would like to see how far I can push freecad for the schematic/technical design. I will first do some sketch models to get the ideas flowing in Blender and later Rhino with the idea that the actu...

Re: Discourse forum software upgrade

@kkeminstky @yorik I am wondering how your import tests have gone? My expertise is limited to setting up, but no idea about importing elements. I've been extremely busy with work/home but wondering if there is any desire to keep on experimenting with discourse? Else I am thinking of closing down the...

Having the 90m constraint there makes the minimum radius 90/2=45m in order to fulfill those PointOnLine constraints at ends of arc.
Correct. Excuse me for the bad math. However, over 45m, sometimes the radius constraint works, sometimes it doesn't

Re: Sketcher Angle Constraints

i've just experienced this behavior with a radius constraint. I suspect it must be a rounding issue due to the fact that I am working in meters. In the following example, if i change the radius from 70m to 50m, i get the following error, also, if i go down to what it gives me and then try to go back...
