Re: Discourse forum software upgrade

@kkeminstky @yorik I am wondering how your import tests have gone? My expertise is limited to setting up, but no idea about importing elements. I've been extremely busy with work/home but wondering if there is any desire to keep on experimenting with discourse? Else I am thinking of closing down the...

Having the 90m constraint there makes the minimum radius 90/2=45m in order to fulfill those PointOnLine constraints at ends of arc.
Correct. Excuse me for the bad math. However, over 45m, sometimes the radius constraint works, sometimes it doesn't

Re: Sketcher Angle Constraints

i've just experienced this behavior with a radius constraint. I suspect it must be a rounding issue due to the fact that I am working in meters. In the following example, if i change the radius from 70m to 50m, i get the following error, also, if i go down to what it gives me and then try to go back...

Re: Sketcher New Sketch resets zoom, should I disable it?

Great! Working in m has been very difficult thus far because the Sketcher view is probably set up for a small object in mm. Thank you for fixing :)

Re: Ticker #3708 - sketcher: offset feature

Would love to see offset implemented in Sketcher as well. It would make building up relative sketches significantly easier.

Re: New tool: Draft_Fillet, prototype implementation

This is probably outside of the scope, but I am curious why there's such a discrepancy between the sketcher toolset and the draft toolset. Ie. fillet in sketcher and offset in draft. I imagine they are being developed with different scopes in mind? You are under the impression that FreeCAD is a wel...

Re: Technical inspiraton from elsewhere

Geometry wise, opencascade is up to par with catia and has decidedly more potential than rhino. That said, I think there is no use in trying to mimic the behavior of other programs. Rhino/Grasshopper (and maybe dynamo) offer quick prototyping but it scales very poorly and is only viable when using ...

The freecad file you attached is empty.
Also please post the FreeCad info.
Info posted above. Sorry, the file has the array hidden.. I've re-uploaded the file.

Re: New Freecad / experienced Revit user questions and workflows on starting out

I tried to do something today that I thought would be a quick test. Sort of a curtain wall. I've been having problems with the angled contraints(https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=39276&p=333635#p333635), but otherwise, seems to work pretty well. I've divided the angle f the arc and us...
