Re: Maybe we're thinking about this all wrong.

I stumbled upon this yesterday: https://www.projectopenair.org/ Follow the links for more information. No idea how serious this is. Make up your mind. Anyway, the idea is fascinating. Rgrds, Mark Thanks for the link. Checked out their Slack. It was very full of people who wanted to help but I didn'...

https://i.imgur.com/caMBNUH.gif Here's a simple example that came up from the top of the head after making the previous comment. The chambers work at the same time but have opposite air flow. One is responsible for bringing in fresh air from the vent in the back while the other has to exhaust used ...

Re: Maybe we're thinking about this all wrong.

You might be right. However, there's another way to take advantage of this situation. Most countries health systems are going to be overwhelmed by this, as we've seen in China and Italy. http://www.cidrap.umn.edu/news-perspective/2020/03/ecdc-covid-19-not-containable-set-overwhelm-hospitals The most...

I just did a search and did not find it, maybe that is why no one uses it, because they can't find it and don't know it exist? I recently ...

Re: g2core CAM

Sliding off topic a bit here, but was wondering what gcode sender are you using for 5/6/more axis control? Mark Pretty confident cncjs or ugs will suffice. Although you wouldn't be able to jog more then 3 axis. The other axis would be controlled with console, macro or with a ready gcode file. Altho...

Re: g2core CAM

First I've heard of it. Looks like a TinyG port. I'd start with the linuxcnc post processor and adapt as necessary. Thanks sliptonic. Not sure why it hasn't taken off. Might be the 32bit arduino is scary. The advatages are enormous compared to GRBL for instance. 9 axis motion (XYZABC+UVW). Note - U...

Anyone using G2Core to controll their CNC and FreeCad as their CAM solution?

If so, what post processor in Path workbench is compatible? Tried Grbl, but code stopped shortly after the start. No topics found on g2core when using search
