Ticket #4057 - Nightly builds not working on Fedora 30

I am trying to install freecad-0.19_pre-17320.x86_64 from here: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/g/freecad/nightly/package/freecad/ The first error I see is with DNF: Problem: cannot install the best candidate for the job - nothing provides python-pivy needed by freecad-1:0.19_pre-17320.x86_6...

Re: Milling inside a pipe with Path

I added a new property and it seems to work fine. This is NOT in the task panel, only in the operation properties and you'll need to delete/re-add the helix operation to see it. Thanks! I tried to run the nightly build on my Fedora 30 but it crashed with a segfault. I think it is some Python 3 prob...

Re: Milling inside a pipe with Path

Okay, thanks! Yes, that is what I am trying to do.

Is it possible to "drill" a fake hole first, and then the subsequent Helix operation will know there is now a hole there? This way I only need to delete the gcode for that hole.

Re: Milling inside a pipe with Path

Hello maybe , what can I see on your screeshot , your part isn't valid Which part do you think? I have the visibility for both my "stock" part (which is grey) and my finished part (in green) turned on. I used the View->Clipping plane menu to show the cross section, but they are both round...

Re: Milling inside a pipe with Path

Thanks for the help! I have attached a pic showing my part in green, the stock in grey and the Helix generated toolpath of an end mill. What I want it to do is just cut out only the stock until the stock is the size of my part. Right now it is cutting the air in the middle as well as the stock. Scre...

Milling inside a pipe with Path

I've made a fairly simple part and now I'm trying to generate the gcode in Path. The part is basically a thick short pipe. I'd like to mill the inside of the pipe with circular interpolation to cut an inside diameter. I created my own "stock" for Path which is in the shape of my raw materi...
