Re: Can't Create Fillet - Can't attach part to Body
Sorry. I'm punchy today - at work trying to get things done. Actually, I was trying to avoid mixing - hence my question if a fillet was possible for part Workbench. For whatever reason I didn't see how to do a 3D fillet in Part.

If you're too annoyed to answer a question then just don't. Is that really that hard? Yet, you took the time to essentially say "read the manual" then mock me with your silly little emoji. I have a word for people like you - it's Jackass.

Can't Create Fillet - Can't attach part to Body
I want to add fillets to the object I created called "base" - however when switch to the "Part Design" workbench I'm informed I must create a Body. But, for whatever reason - I am unable to drag the part I created (base) under the body. I think that is what I need to do first - b...

Best way to cut or slice a part without using orthogonal planes?
I've got a step file. It's all once piece. I'd like to separate the step into three parts. But, the only way I know how to do this is with the planes orthogonal to the XYZ axis. The cut/slice I'd like to make wouldn't be along any of these orthogonal planes. I've attached the part - a transistor. I ...

Re: Adding Color to Surface
I figured it out. The problem I was having was that I needed to select surfaces AFTER initiating "Set Colors"
In the past I haven't had much luck coloring surfaces - and I would create separate solid objects for text - which I'd color using "Appearance" dialog.

Adding Color to Surface
I'm attempting to add different colors to the attached part drawing. But, for some reason when I try doing this using "Set Colors" it doesn't work - because the following menu doesn't allow access to different colors. Is this because this is a compound part? I'm using FreeCad version 0.20 ...

Question: Modifying a step file
I'm curious to know the best method for extending the pitch of the attached component. Currently, the pitch is 10.50mm - but, I would like to change this (modify the drawing) so that the pitch is 14.10mm. The component came from a downloaded step file. Or, would it be better to create the same drawi...
