Hello,
I think freeCad has potentially many users on Kickstarter. We could find backers to develop the software even more? After all, they are using it anyway.

Re: meshslicing to nurbs
awesome.
And how can I flaten the bspline curves even more? They are not really smooth, are there any configuration options to use only each second or third point, or do I have to manually delete each point?

Re: right click menu
alt + click is a good additional menu. I think, to be really effective, one should have a programmable mouse. I dont have one  Keyboard is nice, but lately I only use the pc for modeling. For email and surfing, phones and tablets replaced the pc. I would like to have toggle visibility, box sel...

Re: meshslicing to nurbs
Downgrading to edges I get holes and cant upgrade to wires back again. How do I repair the section lines or how do I avoid holes in the first place?

Re: OpenXR/OpenVR (virtual reality support)
I would love to have google cardboard support and not beeing forced to buy expensive vr-sets
Maybe it would be easier to use unity for rendering the vr.

right click menu
Hello, I come from 3dsmax and am used to the right mous button. In freecad the rightclick isnt really used for something usefull, only stopping some functions. I think, the rightclick should be smart and customizable, functions and macros should be applicable to faces, by rightclicking on these. als...

Re: meshslicing to nurbs
nice. after downgrading, if one point is missing, the gap makes FC "unable" to upgrade back again. how do I connect the edges in draftWB? and how does one edit the joincurve, like in sketching mode? I found this in the forum: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=41261&p...

Re: meshslicing to nurbs
this is really a general question, tools research.
hammax, your sketch is only one of 30 in this case. It might be 1000 slices for bigger meshes. I really need each section transformed into a editable nurbs, BSplines and or CurvesWB.
