geometry stress test - spherical gear
Let's give FreeCAD a bit of a stress test, shall we ?
objective: re-create the geometry of the spherical gear ball thing seen in this lovely gif right here:

I couldn't make it lol
I'm curious to see whether anyone can re-create it

fix loft twist
Screenshot_20210206_171841.jpeg How can I prevent loft from twisting between non coplanar profiles. I have a sector which I want to subtractively sweep to a vertical rectangle. if I set the secor angle to 20 degrees it works just as expected. If I set it to 10 degrees this happens. Is there a way t...

Multiple operations per array
Would be very useful to add multiple instances of a set of operations. so array-ing each one individually is not needed.

FC Forum topics icons
Not talking about FC itself, but about the forum (we're gettin really meta here aren't we ?) Wouldn't it be great if we could add icons on topics or if not topics, at least boards. Personally, I would find it way more comfortable to see icons when browsing the forum, instead of the blue-red chat bubb...

Re: New Toolbit System in Path Workbench
nevermind, it was just me being retarded. okay so, for future refference: when you click on the Create Toolbit button it will prompt a file browser in <<FreeCAD's system installation>>Mod/Path/Tools/Shape and it will nicely ask you to pick a desired shape. then it will open up another file browser w...

Re: New Toolbit System in Path Workbench
Thank you for this video. It helped this beginner out. I still need help though, any common trouble shooting advice like what to do when creating a new toolbit ends in "Invalid Filename." same problem. I'm using freecad-daily, I haven't touched Path in a while, Saw the video on the new to...

Sketcher construction lines
Can we please get rid of that awful deep blue color for construction lines ?
Especially when the default background for the FC viewport is blue.
While literally any color would be better than that blue, why can't we have dashed lines instead ?
