Re: Add notes to model?
Just realized that you could also add a spreadsheet for keeping notes. There could be cases where the preformatted cell-based structure of the spreadsheet would be helpful.

Re: FreeCAD and Raspberry Pi 4
Very pleased to report a successful build! Pi4 4G with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS 64-bit (installed via Raspberry Pi Imager) and the gnome minimal desktop. Not sure how long it took, but it was definitely more than 4 hours. The Pi did not seem to heat up much, but I have it in a Canakit case with fan. Many th...

Re: FreeCAD and Raspberry Pi 4
You are missing boost, one of FreeCAD's dependencies. You can install them all with sudo apt build-dep freecad . If that command doesn't work, you might need to edit your /etc/apt/sources.list file which may have lines like deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu focal main restricted universe multive...

Re: FreeCAD and Raspberry Pi 4
Tried alex's great instructions with a 4Gb Pi 4. Fresh install of Ubuntu 20.04 plus gnome desktop. The first issue I ran into was that there was no compiler. After apt install build-essential, here's the result of attempting the build: ubuntu:~$ cmake freecad-source -DBUILD_QT5=ON -DPYTHON_EXECUTABL...

Re: OSX
Running 0.19-17646 on Mac PowerBook OS 10.13.6. FreeCAD crashes if I try to open a file from File->Recent Files. The same files open normally through File->Open... Sometimes, if I try to reopen a file using Recent Files while continuing a FreeCAD session, FreeCAD just becomes non-responsive. ALWAYS,...

Re: OSX
Sorry I'm not completely conversant with the build process. I did want to note that I installed from FreeCAD_0.19-17646-OSX-x86_64-conda-Qt5-Py3.dmg on my PowerBook running OSX 10.13.6. It feels way more solid than previous versions. Example: selecting endpoints was often questionable in previous ve...

Re: OSX
Thanks @Kunda1 and @chrisb. I'm still not seeing the .dmg of .19_pre. Maybe that's because I'm not very good looking? I dunno...

Not to complain because FreeCAD is frikkin awesome. But Mac support is a bit iffy. For example, if you go to https://freecadweb.org/downloads.php and attempt to get the Mac version, you get a 404. Ack! I'm dying to see what's in the mystical v.19. How can I help?
