Re: Help For Surface Modeling

Recently, there has been a big change in the file structure of the workbench. That makes it incompatible with previous files. Hammax has an old 32-bit Windows OS, so he has to stick to an older version of the workbench. This is why, his files won't work on your FC 0.19 Below is file that should wor...

Re: Help For Surface Modeling

Got the same messages in Report View also with 0.19 (?). Once one of the coordinates is changed in the model, e.g. in Group_mo, Vertex008 the X is changed from 20.00mm to 30.00mm, what need to be done to update the model (recompute)? Of course, "CurvesWB" is installed via Addon-Manager ;-) OS: Windo...

Re: Help For Surface Modeling

... an additional experimental stuff in CurvesWB (my hobby). => Not the usual way to do it in FC. But you can build and edit your mouse shape in a very variable and basic way. It's some work to edit the points coordinates only by clicking the values up and down. Try it. https://forum.freecadweb.org...

Re: node editor - pyflow

Thanks a lot - got it installed at least according to the system messages.
However, the init error message (No module named 'blinker') still remains.

What's clever to do next?
Where is this log file located the init message is talking about?

Thanks for further support!

Re: node editor - pyflow

This is very, very interesting for me and first of all thanks a lot to microelly2 developing all this and the nice examples/use cases! I would like to ask about this one: BSpline Surfaces are not developable. To get a paper model of a terrain I split the surface in stripes, convert them to ruled sur...

Needing help with shell designing workflow

Dear all, I'm actually transforming my 3D CAD activity from SketchUp to FreeCAD! However, I'm still struggling with designing surfaces/planes being orientated across the 3D-space. Below image is a screen shot from SketchUp showing a shell around a trike bicycle (so you could call it a velomobile). H...

XYZ ONESEATER - trike bicycle

The XYZ ONESEATER is a trike bicycle which frame and stearing components are mainly build out of 25mm square aluminium tubing.
