Integer in spreadsheet ?

Hi FC people.

I would like some parameters which are intrinsically integers displayed as such in spreadsheet.
Example : the number of teeth of a gear is shown as 28,0000 not 28

Is it possible ? Documentation doesn't say anything about.

Thank you ! It's a major feature because I was really stuck and my project was stalled.

Re: When to choose Part Design WB or Part WB?

@vocx This is absolutely not a priority (an "official" assembly module is, for example) ; but I think the persistence of two WB having very similar goals might be a little detrimental, in the long haul. I don't know if both can be, or should be, sort of merged. Or one purely remove. I don't know, re...

Re: CADCloud

@vejmarie+openbrain

OK, thank you for the explanation. I'm pretty sure the diffusion of the open-source concept into some domain of the hardware world will very slowly yet irremediably propagate. Good to see tools as support emerging.

Re: CADCloud

Looks very promising. Sorry for this total newbie question, but I know little about the practice of cloud, the companies I used to work keep their precious data in house. What is your underlying fundamental idea, create a tool for setting a sort of github-like site but with tools more specialized an...

Re: When to choose Part Design WB or Part WB?

A point in this debate is paramount : does one of the two tools can do something the other can't (and vice-versa) ? I'm not talking about their respective workflows and user-friendliness, but really about their capability to generate a complex shape with as little limitation as possible. At this sta...

Re: a2+ : partial update would save my life.

Thank you, but the excessive amount of time isn't entailed by solving the constraints applied, it's reloading the altered part which is problematic.

Re: a2+ : partial update would save my life.

@dan-miel

Thank you, but I don't understand. So I ran the macro, where is it supposed to update an external part (its *geometry*, not the constraints linked to it) ?
