Re: FreeCAD and Raspberry Pi 4

Sorry, I totally missed this reply... Ok, there is a conflicting type definition in the source code? But that can't be specific to my Pinebook Pro, or can it? I can't insert the output of the subsequent make -j4 because it exceeds the character limit, so I attached it as a textfile. The build fails ...

Re: FreeCAD and Raspberry Pi 4

Very good hint, I still have a lot to learn, when it comes to Linux... Here's the output of cmake -DPYTHON_EXECUTABLE=/usr/bin/python2.7 \ -DPYTHON_INCLUDE_DIR=/usr/include/python2.7m \ -DPYTHON_LIBRARY=/usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/libpython2.7m.so \ -DPYTHON_PACKAGES_PATH=/usr/local/lib/python2.7/d...

Re: FreeCAD and Raspberry Pi 4

Here's a second try, I managed to capture an error scrolling through the screen, and then at the end the message is different from the first try.

Re: FreeCAD and Raspberry Pi 4

Hi, I tried to grab the output of the terminal. I don't know how to scroll up and access older output unfortunately, but maybe you can make anything out of it. (I can't use the terminal emulator in KDE because it's crashing all the time, so I have to use the Strg + Alt + F2 thing). In any case good ...

Re: FreeCAD and Raspberry Pi 4

Hey chaps, I am trying to run FreeCAD on a Pinebook Pro. The precompiled version it will launch but then segfault when I try to open a file. Now I tried to compile 1.8.4 using MartijnD's instructions. At 45% I get [ 45%] Linking CXX shared library ../../../../Mod/Mesh/Mesh.so [ 45%] Built target Mes...

FreeCAD on ARM

Hi, I have a Pinebook Pro running Kubuntu 19.10. It has a 64-bit ARM processor. I added the stable PPA and installed it. FreeCAD will launch, but if I try to ppen a file, it crashes with "Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. #0 /lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/libc.so.6(+0x2aaa0) [0xf5553aa0...
