Missing Default Polar Axis on Multitransform

Hi - I documented a glitch with using the Multitransform Tool when performing a mirror. The details of that are here ( https://forum.freecad.org/viewtopic.php?t=83053 ). As instructed I opened up a ticket on github here ( https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/issues/11571#event-11213290708 ). This prob...

Re: FreeCAD 21.1 MultiTransform Tool

Thanks for the response. This isn't a knockout punch and has a workaround as mentioned. FreeCAD is a nice tool and I use it in connection with my Prusa 3D printer to model plastic parts. I'm sure the development team has more pressing issues to resolve. If getting the plane selection box to appear i...

Re: Ticket #4083: A bug in the Coin3D library causing app to crash on RPi4

This is pretty normal finger pointing when problems surface across multiple platforms. I also don't think the demand is there yet for FreeCAD on the pi4. Broadcom can also be brought into the fold. They provide proprietary libraries to interface to their hardware. As for a solution, it will likely c...

Re: Ticket #4083: A bug in the Coin3D library causing app to crash on RPi4

Thanks. FreeCAD is a nice modeling application. I have a Prusa 3D printer and FreeCAD is a perfect companion to their Slicer. The FreeCAD appimage runs on my Mint 19.1 system (old Dell Inspiron 1501). I'm just getting ready to build up a new workstation which is long overdue. Would like to keep that...

Re: Ticket #4083: A bug in the Coin3D library causing app to crash on RPi4

Yes you are correct. I've done that with success. I like to keep software current when possible. It's that notion that led me to try a build with Python3 and QT5. Something else with the new build regarding the screen bordering. https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-nRgLVfL/0/94615b45/L/i-nRgLVfL-L.pn...

Re: Ticket #4083: A bug in the Coin3D library causing app to crash on RPi4

Hi - I just completed a FreeCAD 0.19 build from source to attempt to run it on the pi4 Buster. No luck. Program starts but crashes when File-New is selected. Message below: Coin warning in cc_glglue_instance(): Error when setting up the GL context. This can happen if there is no current context, or ...

Re: FreeCAD and Raspberry Pi 4

Hi - Used asps946701 's short install list successfully on my pi4 workstation to get FreeCAD running. My build ended up being 0.19 It seems to run well so far for my simple learning to model exercises. I need FreeCAD to model parts for a Prusa3D printer due in here in January. I've exported STL file...
