Collection of differences between original version and realthunder

differences between the two versions can be posted here. first post: when referencing dxf files, the original version has a problem with the function selection in the sketcher. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3Iq1yzBIsU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3Iq1yzBIsU at some point he made it. it doesn'...

most bim data are contained in ifc files. geometry similar to iges and text attributes to objects. These attributes can be individually expanded so that the companies involved in the construction can agree which attributes are required and how they are "formatted".

OK. if it is the same with circle 3 pts and an error message appears, it is harmless. Thank you

bim is a workflow. e.g. a wall structure results from the geometry of the drawing and the lettering, regardless of bim. just like before bim

I don't think so, because it's the opposite of what openBrain just implemented: In most cases we want a tangent if only edges are involved. And only in this very special case it leads to a problem.

here is something else that could be improved upon.

this is not dangerous because it generates an error message, but it could be solved similarly in my opinion.

video from a step import with the attempt to reference a circle.

Re: [workaround] (Dangerous) behavior from the sketcher

i had the problem with referencing a step model. i didn't know the dimensions of the step model. When it was caught, circle 3 pts lit up the external geometry in yellow, so that I thought he caught it. but it didn't and the geometry that i then restricted was wrong. later i noticed that when catchi...
