ah... look at that, I ran into the forum cop.
Are you the one that never really answers, but makes a point out of if a question is formulated correctly?
Because pretty much every forum has at least one of those.

rookie question (probably)
Hello, I am just starting to use FreeCad. I am trying to make a part, a motor mount, where most pockets are "straight, except for two that are narrower at the bottom then on top. So I created two sketches, extruded them and made a boolean fusion. What I end up with looks like what I want, but w...

Re: finding a center
Hi, that sounds like a good idea, but is that defined when I calculate it? The part I am designing (an application specific NEMA 23 mount) is at some point gong to be asymmetric. Re: FreeCAD on Cento/Rhel 7.x
hello,
actually I downloaded the AppImage and started it on a server, using X11 forwarding to my graphics workstation. It crashes a lot doing
that, so I don't think that works that well.
I saw an "install on fedora" post, I'll check and see the thread to see how that worked.
thanks,
Ron

FreeCAD on Cento/Rhel 7.x
Hello, I am new to FreeCAD, but would like to do it for designing parts to CNC (and create g-code). Most examples and tutorials I see are for version 0.18, while the "default" install is 0.15. Even though it seems to work just fine (0.15) it's definitely not the same as what is shown in tu...
