Re: curtain wall with a sketch?

Looks great!! Seems, it was directly made in Freecad? What Render Engine was used? In my FC version, have only the POV- and Luxrender, but didn`t used them in the past.. No experience with the RT fork, has it more options in this area? Very interesting!! Realthunder's FreeCAD fork (aka LinkStage3) ...

Re: [Feature] Drawing Walls = Drawing Rooms Automatically

Interesting. Now this rooms can be smart objects? Entities to: - storage more properties - assigning new properties through category or classification system (not manually) - create a system of properties linked with regulations. This way, if a room does not match with some conditions (minimum air v...

Re: curtain wall with a sketch?

Added 2 further examples , mainly to have a few Arch-CW-Macro examples in one file,( for me to remember the procedure, when needed ;) ) Sure, many things in modeling this in FC could be done much better then I did, still on an exiting way of learning, any comments on what could be done better are h...

Re: Shape2DView does not work with this Boolean object.

Curiosly, this projection is somewhat demanding for the HLRBrep_Algo Open Cascade algorithm used for Hidden Line Removal. Scaling the object to a small size speed up the calculus. On my machine it takes ~150 sec to make the projection. Rescaling to 1:100, the projection takes 4 sec. Ok. You are rig...

No need to register, just close the register box and then download.
Could someone confirm, whether the download works? Hopefully not only on my PC :D
Thanks for sharing. It works.

Re: Freecad and Blender as team

As I mention, it was an early stage of learning, I didn`t use most of the great tools, FC has. Think about of someone, who has the first contact to FC and would download this as an example. It would lead him/her in a complete wrong direction with a complete wrong impression, what can be done with F...

Shape2DView does not work with this Boolean object.

Shape2DView does not work with this Boolean object. Keep the camera in Top View position. Open DraftWB Select the Sweep object Click on Shape2DView command - The Shape2DView object is created. Select the Cut object Click on Shape2DView command - FreeCAD freezes. This only happens if the camera is To...

Re: Is it/was it possible to Freeze a TechDraw View?

Hi there, I'm using FC 0.20 and getting to the point that I'm creating assembly documentation for an open hardware project using TechDraw. My wish was to create multiple views on a page of a part being gradually folded, step-by-step. I can do this by altering angles in the part and capturing new vi...

Re: Freecad and Blender as team

Ohhhh. So nice. I like it. Even it has structural diagonals :) it would be cool to share the FC file. Sure! We should create a new category: FC4FUN with concept designs and fantasy models. Here my contribution, a shelter where I tested Arch Texture WB. https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&...
