BTW I can edit the line in Inkscape and change the stroke style to 'Dash-Dot; then it looks correct.It is possible that the dash-dot text in the svg xml is not what Inkscape is expecting.

When I draw a dash-dot line using draft workbench, copy it to a drawing then export the drawing to SVG I get the result as in the image. Is there any way to improve the dash-dot export ie increase the dash length so that the SVG image would have a more realistic dash-dot line?

Could this be a graphic issue, I tried using Kazam and RecordMyDesktop and as soon as FreeCAD crashes so do they and I don't get any screen video saved to be able to demonstrate what I am doing to get the error.
