Re: Sketcher WB: moving destroys hexagon

I tried out the new moving feature in FC 0.18 (https://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/Release_notes_0.18#Sketcher_Workbench) and noticed a strange behavior: - input a hexagon to a sketch via the corresponding toolbar button - select a line of the hexagon at the right side (not the complete hexagon) - use ...

Re: Part Geometry Extensions

Download the zip from here right? To be honest with you, I would center in another part of the development until the geometry extensions get merged for two reasons: 1) Geometry extensions will allow you to have whatever you want to have, 2) It is likely that together or immediately after the geomet...

Re: Reference constraint wrong on diameters of external references

I found the explanation. It was not my fault, but the reporter's , who did not conform to the process. If he had done so, we would have seen here a forum discussion. I read all forum posts, but I don't scan the bug tracker. You can be sure that this has been my last bug report to FreeCAD, if you st...

[solved]Re: std::bitset Python and in XML

std::bitset has a beautiful tostring() and a constructor taking that string. So serialisation is easy.

Note to self:

Probably this:

Code: Select all

else if((*it).constr->Type==Diameter && (*it).constr->First>0 )
should be:

Code: Select all

else if((*it).constr->Type==Diameter && (*it).constr->First>=0 )

[SOLVED]std::bitset Python and in XML

I have some status bits in a std::bitset<32> in a class with the typical testFlag()/setFlag() implementation. I want to do two things: 1) Create a twin python implementation. I have searched and have not found any equivalent Python type, so I am thinking of just implementing to methods: - Py::Boolea...

An option is the file src/Base/Tools.h. But we could also think about creating a new file. At least it makes most sense to have it in FreeCADBase.
Ok. Thanks! :)
