I have a somewhat complicated sketch that I want to mirror in order to save time constructing the sketch. I created 1/2 of the sketch and then tried to mirror it. FC crashed.

Re: This CANNOT be this HARD !!!!

I like your sense of humour. I will take that as a negative ;) I apologize if it comes across as a slam. It wasn't intended to be. :) Perhaps there was a more diplomatic way to convey that workflow idea is widely distributed and the FC team has gone out of their way to get the message out. As users...

Sure, I can think of something.

How about watching any of the large number of amazing introductory tutorials on YouTube instead of declaring that any behaviours you aren't aware of are design errors.

Re: PR 3669: Review and Expected behaviour

Sorry for being late. I had the tab open because I wanted to think about it - and then forgot. So here we go: 1) In an ideal world the clone tool should create geometry that looks as its source, and if the source changes it should change in the same way. This means that cloning is only cloning the ...

Re: PR 3669: Review and Expected behaviour

As you didn't require useful input, here is mine. :) First, I never use these clone/copy tools. Don't know why but my workflow doesn't need them. ;) Anyway, I think that reference constraint can be safely disregarded and ignored in the algorithm. What I would expect from a 'Clone' command applied t...

Is it worth a feature request to augment this message with the name or label of the sketch?

Re: This CANNOT be this HARD !!!!

I was wondering if you have tried the advice of clicking the face and then clicking the sketch icon as it has been suggested several times. I adore how that works but, to be fair, it isn't obvious and there is no feedback on what it's doing. Once you adopt this into your workflow, it's a big produc...

Re: Computer crash after changing pocket size

There is an issue occurring in the model linked to the first post, which is not directly linked to OP's problem: On recompute of the last Sketch043 a message occurs " Sketcher constraint number 23 is malformed! ". As mentioned above this occurs if changes are made in previous steps. Is it worth a f...

Re: This CANNOT be this HARD !!!!

I hope that FC will come up with the USER-FRIENDLY command's behavior and interface. Till then I am holding my beer :) I value constructive feedback. I was wondering if you have tried the advice of clicking the face and then clicking the sketch icon as it has been suggested several times. If you co...
