I understand why the conda builds arent debug versions (was a dumb question from me since the info clearly states release ;-) So i home compile with debugging so in case a reproducable error pops up I can debug and post the trace like I did in the starter post, the version version info you are refer...

The conda-packages are built in release mode. Not sure what is meant by "build with debugging".
That its build in debug mode with debug symbols compiled in and optimizations off...

Conda builds are useless for testing if they are in release mode.

Somehow brew upgrade messed up some libs, a reinstall solved the issue... Thanks! had a quick look at the docs and it looks like it's a pretty solid system, only downfall is that every change the full sketch is solved again not only "affected" points by the change but that still doesn't explain why the process is to slow, will look at the code when I have some spare time ...
