"Blocks" problem with walls created from simple draft lines

I cannot create "blocks" (from properties) in walls created from normal draft line, it works only with walls created from sketches.

It's normal?

I cannot see this behaviour on documentation:

little secret. in the program that I currently use at work there is absolutely no convenient way to catalog objects. But this does not cause inconvenience, simply because without cataloging there are other options for quick access to objects. Their hiding and the like. Convenient multiple selection...

I feel that additional features make Freecad slower. This causes a lot of work when programming and the result is worse for some users I disagree.
