Path regression: Missing output operations

Oh! Great gurus of Path development! Im troubled by the last milling Path I made from FreeCAD... In the final output, it miss the "Fixture op" and the "1st tool operation" (I have only one tool in my job). They are not send to the post processor!?!? So, the G5X (coordinate system selection) and the ...

Re: 3D Surface - Face Selection (New feature) [Merged]

As for the G0 issue you mentioned, It think that will be handled on the post-processor side. I know in the operation code, I do add the rapid feed rate argument to the G0 commands to be created, most of the time, just in case it is needed by a post processor. You might need to search for a historic...

Re: 3D Surface - Face Selection (New feature) [Merged]

Hi All, Hi Russ, I found little bugs in the new PathSurface.py code. There is wrong comments on near the begining of the GCode output like this: (Surface001) (Surface001) Tool type: EndMill) Compensated Tool Path. Diameter: 5.0) Sample interval: 0.1) Step over %: 60) ) G0 F0.000000 Z5.000000 G0 F0.0...

Re: compilation on Debian Bullseye fails with wrong include path for PySide2

Hi all, Same problem for me on Debian Sid... As workaround, I made symbolic link from /usr/lib/include/PySide2 to /usr/include/PySide2 : root@hebus:~# ls -l /usr/lib/include/PySide2 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 22 mars 12 20:33 /usr/lib/include/PySide2 -> ../../include/PySide2/ Awaiting the correction of ...

Re: 3D Surface - Face Selection (New feature)

Hi Russell,
Amazing job !!!
Work very well from first tests this afternoon...
I will continue to torture the code with my very complex parts that I plan to machine soon :D

Re: 3D Surface - Face Selection (New feature)

Hi all, @RatonLaveur, The goal of what I am trying to program today is to mill 2 symmetrical pieces at the same time with a single G-code file in a single stock. There is only one FreeCAD model, but which contains 2 solids, one of which is symmetrical to the other. The only workshops I used to creat...

Hi @chrisb, Thanks for your reply and the link... But this link tell about a totaly new algorithm wich is not already merged in master... The actual master 3D surface Path still have this bug. Re: 3D Surface - Face Selection (New feature)

Hi Russ, Many thanks for your great job. It seems to work fine for simple surfaces, but for my complex geometry that I need to mill, it don't work at all :-( Surface3D-v0.19-Exception.png This is the output in report view : <Exception> shapes are not planar Traceback (most recent call last): File "/...

3D surface path shifted (bug / regression ?)

Hi all, Recently, I found a difference between the v0.18.4 (standard Debian Bullseye version) and the v0.19 (my last update from github is 0.19.19535 (Git)). On the v0.19, the working tool path is offseted from the workpiece. It begins before the material and undergoes a shift during the last pass. ...
