Re: module 'PathScripts.PathToolBitLibraryCmd' has no attribute 'CommandList'

I am also on Linux.

Usualy, I update and build with those commands:

Code: Select all

cd $FREECAD_SRC
git pull
cd build
cmake ../
make -j 8
For the second try (the one with missing files at the end of the build) I deleted all the content of the buil dir before cmake and make.

Re: module 'PathScripts.PathToolBitLibraryCmd' has no attribute 'CommandList'

Hi, To rebuild FreeCAD, I deleted all the contents of the "build" directory to be sure to make a clean construct. My FreeCAD git repository is located in $HOME/src/FreeCAD and the build directory is located in $HOME/src/FreeCAD/build Then, I rebuild FreeCAD with the commands: cd ~/src/FreeCAD/build ...

Re: module 'PathScripts.PathToolBitLibraryCmd' has no attribute 'CommandList'

Hi, I obtained this error when I had the "EnableExperimentalFeatures" parameter set to True... I searched for CommandList in all files in my Freecad directories, and I found that .../FreeCAD/build/Mod/Path/InitGui.py have not been replaced by the last rebuild and that it wasn't the same than the fil...

Re: module 'PathScripts.PathToolBitLibraryCmd' has no attribute 'CommandList'

Hi, Thanks for reply, but I updated my version with a "git pull" today and I fully recompiled it, so, I don't think it's an "older" one... I rather think that it's the newer version which is disturbed by the preferences saved by the previous versions... When I suppress the previous stored Path prefe...

module 'PathScripts.PathToolBitLibraryCmd' has no attribute 'CommandList'

Hi all, Today, I made a pull update for using last updated Path module and testing the newest Path Tool bit... But when I wanted to activate the Path Module, I got the following error: module 'PathScripts.PathToolBitLibraryCmd' has no attribute 'CommandList' Traceback (most recent call last): File "...

Re: How to kill an endmill with FreeCAD

The solution I wrote is a little bit more complete than force to use a specific editor, especially since Notepad ++ works only with Windows and the solution must be portable also on Linux and Mac. I will therefore propose the following solution which will allow the choice: - Use the internal editor ...

Re: How to kill an endmill with FreeCAD

The inspection tool could really be improved to use an external editor too. The simple text widget is really limited and we already turn off syntax highlighting if the path is too big. "Using external editor option" functionality is almost ready... I just need to finalize tests, especially on Mac s...

Re: grbl post python

it is copied from preprocessor where it IS defined below. You are right! This is probably due to the fact that in the FreeCAD WiKi documentation it is written: Pre- and post-processors work exactly the same way. They just do the contrary: The pre scripts convert from specific GCode to FreeCAD's "ag...

Re: GRBL new post processor with drill cycles G81..G83

Hi @freman, Thanks for this good idea of canned cycle speed optimisation, and sorry for my late response... Since NIST RS274NGC is not the only GCode standard (ISO 6983, DIN 66025, PN-73M-55256 or PN-93/M-55251are other ones), I think this must be a postprocessor optio n, and it shouldn't be activat...
