Re: partdesign thickness tool arc not working properly
I find the interface a bit confusing If you select the join type as ARC and make the thickness outwards then you get the arcs at the edges If you select then "make thickness inwards" the arcs disappear but the ARC option option still remains. So if it is not possible to get an arc when mak...

partdesign thickness tool arc not working properly
The thickness tool has an arc option
It seems that the arc is active only if the thickness is performed outwards but not inwards.
Am I missing something or i this a bug?

Re: Hollow a solid, but leave all faces
Thanks to all.
I guess I will try the method of duplicating a flat face and then building it back at the correct thickness.

I know that there is a way hollow a solid, but the method always removes the selected face.

sketcher - do not display units for constraints
Is it possible not to display the units (e.g mm) for the constraints?
I know that I work in mm so no need for the mm for each constraint.

Problem converting STL to Freecad solid
I downloaded a design from Thingiverse which I would like to modify. There are 5 STl files, 4 of which convert with no problems One, which is the most complicated part, does not convert. I follow the instructions in the Freecad wiki: open stl analyze and repair (this one had a problem with intersect...
