Nothing is wrong. FreeCAD should be in

Hmm. It just told me that everything is up to date. Only a brew resinstall freecad made it update the git source as well.

Uhmm, now I started with a simple demo and it now croaks at the import FreeCAD

dynamic module does not define init function (initFreeCAD)

What now?

Found it. On my homebrew I had to add

PYTHONPATH=$PYTHONPATH:/usr/local/Cellar/freecad/HEAD-135525a/lib:/usr/local/Cellar/freecad/HEAD-135525a/Mod

The FreeCAD stuff is in a dylib within the lib path.

Regarding the homebrew installation: How can I tell there's an update for the head and how can I do the update? Is brew update sufficient?

So it appears that the automatic switch to dark mode is messing things. I had reported a similar issue to WingWare a while ago which they could fix. IIRC it was somehow QT related. Should I create an issue?

Thanks for the link. That just looks like what I did. However, my git source has not built FreeCAD python module (I can find). Shouldn't it be in the Mod folder along with the other stuff like Part etc?

Hi, I would like to use FC's Python API but with my own IDE. So, in order to load the modules I need to know where the Python libs are located.
