Re: New Wiki page describing B-splines

well, the nth derivatives were halfway there when i abandoned constraintsolver. As for offset bspline in sketcher, i'm not sure. I've heard that an offset spline is possible, though it will be of a higher degree. I suppose, if general constraints to bspline become a reality, it will be possible do k...

Re: Possible bug with Sketches and Boolean Fragments

if len(shapes) == 1 and shapes[0].ShapeType == "Compound" (and test if it is a Sketch): shapes = [ grandchildShapes for childShapes in shapes[0].childShapes() ] ## i.e. use their Edges instead of Wires And how do i proceed if i actually want to intersect wires of the sketch, not its edges...

Re: How do we simulate a double-click in the tree view?

yes, except i don't know how to capture the double-click in 3d view. In your code, the doubleClicked method refers to a double-clicking it in model tree.

Just to clarify. I have not seen a way in occ, but that doesn't at all mean there isn't. I have never even properly looked for it.

Re: 3D Non-Uniform Transformation (Scaling?) of Shape

The transformation in the macro is linear. Lines remain straight, planes remain planar, parallel things remain parallel, only angles are distorted. What you want seems to be a nonlinear transformation, capable of breaking parallelism and bending planes into curved or jaggered surfaces. I haven't see...

Re: Some way to isolate/separate body being edited

Doesn't it need additional/non-standard FC containers? It does provide ones, but it doesn't "need" them, it will affect how Parts and Bodies behave and does not cause any incompatibility, except for actively changing display modes of bodies which may make some people think it makes models...

My Part-o-magic addon is all about that! Though it's not a separate view.

Re: Lattice2 / booleans with compounds and solids

The problem is in that you are using "Populate with children " instead of "populate with copies " "Populate with children" expects a compound of several shapes, to put them to corresponding placements, one by one. If it does not get a compound, it implicitly downgrades ...

Re: Lattice2 / booleans with compounds and solids

Hi!
Both approaches (sketch->extrude->populate->cut and sketch->array->extrude->cut) should work. I will test with the latest FC version, maybe something has changed...

Can you please share an example file with the failure?
