Re: QProcess.ProcessError.FailedToStart for Calculix

That’s what i did now. Someone posted instructions for brew in this thread or another and I was able to get everything compiled but would not work. Do we have a full set of instructions on how to get this working for OS X? Thx!

Re: QProcess.ProcessError.FailedToStart for Calculix

ok, the problem is that calculix is not automatically detected allthough it's installed correctly and available. What worked for me was setting the path to calculix manually in the preferences -> fem -> calculix to ccx . I don't know why it's not done by default. You got everything working? I know ...

Re: QProcess.ProcessError.FailedToStart for Calculix

I spent a few days working on this but ended up giving up. I don't have the skills required to fix it.

Re: selection sketcher 0.17

It does happen on the Retina display like Chrisb mentioned. The problem does not happen when I use the same laptop with our giant Mac monitor.

Re: Standard thread nuts and bolts

Not a direct solution but I was able to do this in the free version of Fusion 360 and then import it into FreeCAD.

Standard thread nuts and bolts

Hi-

Anyone have an idea how I can get something like the Fasteners WB but for standard threads? I am trying to make an adapter for my router and unfortunately, it's not metric. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks, j

Re: FreeCAD asking for permission to contacts and calendar on OSx

We got off track and we’re talking about 2 different things here. One the calendar issue which seems to be a false alarm but still happens and also the file digalog not responding. Mark as solved?
