Just to double-check the problems with the Mac builds are the only remaining blocker for an official release announcement right?
I think at the moment this is the best we can do?
Win is less than perfect but I, think it's good to go.

Re: FreeCAD 0.18.1 instalation

The only thing I want to have in 0.18 is the Drawing Dimensioning module, which is not in the menu and can not be run, although I added it with the tool in the Tools menu. The problem here seems to be QT5/PY3 related. drawingdimensioning and assembly2 have been orphaned and are do not support porti...

Re: Msvcr120.dll and msvcp120.dll

Just downloaded it and tried to run it but I still get the same errors as before. Sorry, can you try again now? I uploaded and downloaded and tested, so I think it's fixed. Does the bin directory have the sub-directory platforms which then includes qwindows.dll? On a system where you have compiled ...

Re: Downloads vs. Install on Win

Unify what? Sorry for being so un-clear. I had actually confused myself. I mistakingly thought the links to download FreeCAD on the homepage pointed to the wiki download page. They actually point directly to the github releases page. In addition I was actually using the proposed new homepage https:...

The 64 bit build uses msvcr14 now and indeed the files are missing. I will fix this. Thanks for reporting.

Downloads vs. Install on Win

Getting ready for the 018.1 release announcement I have been updating the links on the downloads page. However I noticed that the homepage for Win points to the Install on Win page, which uses some templates, they are different for the 32 and 64 bit version. Is there a way to unify this? I would sug...

I would think this is manageable easily enough - for example, geometry drawn by Tracker objects can be set to 'ontop'...
I don't know the implementation, but sketcher has this. The rendering order for regular, construction, and reference can be set.

Re: New libpacks for Windows VS2015+ by apeltauer

I Just noticed you request and did so, except the other seems to be about a debug lib pack, so I left this one as well for now but let be know if you want it no longer "sticky". The other should no longer be sticky. This newer libpack provides both release and debug libs, QT5 vs. QT4, PY3 vs. PY2, ...

Not yet but I added this to the thread so that I don't forget. I will do it tomorrow if time allows.
No worries, thanks.
