Re: Error: Inconsistent use of tabs and spaces in indentation

So, the mystery goes on with those 2 icons.. They from an addon, which one? C:\Users\owner\AppData\Roaming\FreeCAD\Mod\exploded_animation I suggest you rename C:\Users\owner\AppData\Roaming\FreeCAD\Mod to C:\Users\owner\AppData\Roaming\FreeCAD\Mod-backup And use Tools > Addon manager to re-install ...

https://cmake.org/cmake/help/latest/manual/cmake.1.html

Code: Select all

cmake --build /home/mac/freecad-build -- -j$(nproc --ignore=2)
Interesting for scripting

Re: Error: Inconsistent use of tabs and spaces in indentation

C:\Users\owner\AppData\Roaming\FreeCAD\Mod\exploded_animation I see that. After some Duckcuck Go it looks like this is the precursor to " Exploded Assembly" https://github.com/JMG1/ExplodedAssembly/tree/562c05f4f43e78e4b1cc5923103a20b7952d15c6 I've installed this via Tools > Addon manager and it in...

EDIT: Removed all the indentations from line 71 down. Finally the warning message is gone! Now, only those two yellow SVG warnings remaining to solve.
Where do you get "exploded_animation" I don't see it in Addons-manager?

Re: Compiling only part of Freecad

1. Is it possible to rename app, from FreeCAD to something else? See https://wiki.freecadweb.org/Branding 2. What is the best way to recompile only part of FreeCAD. For example, if I change 1 icon, I don't want whole FreeCAD to be rebuild from scratch. Is it possible to just rebuild FreeCADGUI for ...

Re: compile/build 0.19 on ubuntu 20.04

Are you saying "cmake --build..." runs "make -j..." "cmake --build" runs "make" in the current directory with no -j option, so it runs single threaded. The "/home/mac/freecad-build" option sets the working directory, if you are in that directory it is redundant. It's best to just skip this and run ...

Re: compile/build 0.19 on ubuntu 20.04

Also, seeing this , I copied the cmake line in to a terminal and hit enter. It processed for a while, no errors. When it completed it gave another cmake command to use. I did it is still compiling/building cmake --build just runs make -j1 So one thread. -j# just specifies the number of threads. If ...

Re: FreeCAD _ LinkStage3: Design using the boolean tools in PartDesign workbench

You can report the issue either in asm3 github issue page or my freecad repo issue page. Anyway, Do you know where is the commit fixing this problem? There is no fix in master. There is a syntax warning from mpmath because it is not ported to Py3.8. The only "bug" in master is that this warning sho...

Re: debug log ?

Just noticed following debug.log in my project directory: I get this as well in my FreeCAD/bin directory. It doesn't seem to cause a problem. If you have a problem in the future with your Locale it is worth mentioning. OS: Windows 10 (10.0) Word size of OS: 64-bit Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit Versi...

Re: Hole dialog discussion

Without direct access to the standards I believe it works like this; ISO 60 deg 90 deg (standard) 120 deg (thin sheet) UN 60 deg 82 deg (standard) 110 deg (thin sheet) aircraft 100 deg 60 deg is shared by ISO and UN and is used to "deburr" the hole/thread. It's depth is calculated as a percentage of...
