Re: Inconsistencies with Tree View

I just diagonal-read it, and most of the stuff seems to make sense and applies to 0.16 almost as well as to 0.14. I'd especially +1 the active invasive filtering of numbers. It drives me nuts, occasionally. There seems to be two kinds of number input box types: unitless, and quantity. Both employ a...

Re: Inconsistencies with Tree View

Note: It is not known if these 'bugs' are hard fails or possibly intermittent; also it is not known if some of them may be platform specific. This list is created from FreeCAD v 0.14 on Macintosh computer. Are you aware of that v0.14 is now two years old? Version 0.15 was the latest stable version ...

Inconsistencies with Tree View

hello all I have been encouraging people I work with to use FreeCAD. After setting them up I try and answer questions to get them up to speed and signed onto (or at least reading) the forums. Two areas of confusion most encounter are: the selection and hilighting in the Tree Browser entering numeric...

Re: radio button control for grid size (sketcher)

The radio button control for grid size control has an inconsistent behavior 1. Advances are in 1 mm step independently of the current size. 2. When scrolling down from 1 mm the value of grid size jumps down to 0.001 mm 3. When setting the current value to 1 m (1000 mm) scrolling up and down it will...

Re: Are macros that specify menu options language specific?

use something like this instead of just "Wireframe"? Not 100% sure about the context value. snip... I have not tested this but if something like this is needed then we should find out what exactly and publish it on the Wiki guidelines for everyone writing macros that specify menu options.

Re: Keyboard shortcut, View toolbar - Wireframe

thanks for finding that and posting it Renato - I had no idea such was the case. I guess I assumed that at the Python level the menu strings would stay in a base language and a presentation layer would localise for the user on the screen. Apparently not. To avoid hijacking this thread, I've moved th...

Are macros that specify menu options language specific?

I have moved this thread to the Python forum as it appears to deal with something which has implications for macros which deal with the text of options in menus. The original thread is at Keyboard shortcut, View toolbar - Wireframe and I have copied the relevant last posts below: Hello, I tried usin...
