Tiny fonts and excessive whitespace
I am 59 years old and the tiny fonts used in the dialogs are unreadable. Is there any way to get bigger fonts here? I have tried a few tricks manipulating the scaling and DPI and the like and it makes no difference. Just as frustrating, there is a ridiculous amount of whitespace in the dialog and co...

ninja for building freecad - full compile in 9 minutes.
I recently found out about ninja, which is a build system like make. Ninja is different from make in that it optimizes order of compiling and uses multi-threading to take advantage of multiple cores. I have a workstation with a Xeon which is about 6 years old. It has 4 cores which with hyper-threadi...

Re: [SOLVED]: Sketcher cannot select points
Map reverse looks like it would work if I had designed my sketch with that property set.
But unfortunately, or maybe that is the purpose of it, it reverses the "H" axis of the sketch when applied.

Re: [SOLVED]: Sketcher cannot select points
OMG! I never imagined that it could matter what side you were looking at the sketch from while editing. Seems sort of silly but OK it that is the way it works.
Thank you for the insight into this behavior. I don't remember seeing this in any documentation.

Re: [SOLVED]: Sketcher cannot select points
I increased the pick size to 10. It really makes no difference. The vertex almost never is selected. And there is no graphic feedback if it is.
I have an nvidia quadro 2000 using the legacy 96XX driver, if that makes a difference.

Sorry about the image. I thought it was not showing because I was new but I made a mistake in the link. https://i.imgur.com/y0DhHLG.mp4 Yes this seems to be the behavior discussed here. In my case I am attempting to make a constraint between a line and vertex. The vertex selection is not taken into ...

Re: [SOLVED]: Sketcher cannot select points
Hi. I am experiencing much the same problem in my up-to-date build selecting vertexes in sketches so I came upon this thread. I guess this is still a problem or am I doing something wrong? https://imgur.com/y0DhHLG OS: Debian GNU/Linux buster/sid Word size of OS: 64-bit Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit ...
