Re: Radio controlled airplane

Mechanical resistance of what? the spar. Think " looping " I must admit that term means nothing to me, and a search didn't turn up much. I'm not really a structures person, but planes like this are so light and slow that there is really no danger of structural failure, barring a crash. I ...

For level flight stability; it looks like a camera-ship!

Does the wing come off for repair? Is it elevator/aileron? Is it electric; then where does battery fit?

Re: Rotated holes result in different sized Helix tool paths.

First of all, I dont call this a bug. It is just the way "Hole-Detection" was implemented at the time (now, we know better from testing), and Ive seen it as a long term problem that had to be acknowledged and compensated for through the user "awareness". Shifted geometries need t...

Re: Rotated holes result in different sized Helix tool paths.

Its really getting on my nerves that there is so much resistance to change in this forum, there is always a lot of blow back even when fixing things that are clearly bugs. Deja Blues, But your not a troll; NO! :D A good forum moderator would have chastized you for that ignorant comment! AFAIC...

Re: Hiding Jobs / Ops

Here you are taking out too big a hammer, especially for the Path forum..... You are probably correct hchris! If you want to see something fixed, by all means, fix it! But don't complain... Equivalent: code it yourself. That comment is the single most destructive "clever" saying on the bo...

Re: Hiding Jobs / Ops

Agreed. I was expecting the same behaviour as other FreeCAD elements. I.e. Yes, this has been a PATH - "USABILITY" weakness for me, for a long time; lacking propagation of behavior. ...This would make the path workflow a fair but smoother imo.... No doubt! You have to hide the job and the...

Sounds like you guys are getting things "Sorted Out" ! Time for a Cupper/or Mugger! Woolshed still in operation? Surfer's Paradise Grand Prix still happening or has it been moved? And most of all; remember to Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge (movie: Dodgeball reference) from those Lo...

Re: pythonical adding all the holes to an operation

I can't remember ever seeing a model with more than 10 holes to be drilled. Yeah, right! On a CNC machine none the less! Programming is only half the battle; the other half is what to program. le coon is just trying to provide some of the latter; "domain expertise" as well as he/myself/an...

Re: pythonical adding all the holes to an operation

Then call it SELECT ALL - more equivalent to findAll(); anything but Reset. It is not obvious or intuitive Question: Path-Hoppa: When one opens up the drilling OP (and i just did), and the UI is blank, why on earth would you click on resetting-nothing? Except for that is just one of the ways it work...

Re: cryptic blue arrows

The "cryptic blue" or "cryptic grey" arrows? You must be referring to the "Set Depth To Selected Plane/Edge! Plane is "typical" but edges are sometimes the only feature accessible at a specific level (might be a bug). Another "Tool-Tip" from Path-HOPpa. P...
