Re: Draft PathArray on a Part container fails
By the way, selecting multiple objects before the path then clicking on the PartArray icon does not produce an array of these objects along the path. Seems like one of the object is used as a path.

Draft PathArray on a Part container fails
Hello, I just tested the Draft workbench PathArray function with a Part container . It does not show anything. If fails with this in the Report view: Running the Python command 'Draft_PathArray' failed: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/freecad-daily/Mod/Draft/DraftTools.py"...

Re: Using vertexes/vertices in Expressions
I just read the Release_notes_0.17. In the Part Workbench chapter, the Part_Attachment utility is presented. It seems to answer my question! I'm gonna play with that now...

Using vertexes/vertices in Expressions
Hello, Short TL;DR version I'd like to place a Part cube next to another in non-trivial coordinates (cubes are rotated). Calculating position in expressions is quite cumbersome and not perfectly precise (visual gap between the cubes when zooming "too much"). I thought about using vertex co...

Re: BIM Workbench
Hello ! Not sure if this post is in the right topic or if it deserves its own... I've talked to Open-datBIM at their booth at the Passive House Convention in Paris this month. They describe themselves as a free BIM product and object download platform. I understand that from this platform, FreeCAD c...

Re: Cut: resulting shape is invalid
Thanks to you tanderson69 and GeneFC, I now understand what happens. I'll change my array, even if I think it's supposed to work as is
For future reference, there is a Wiki page explaining in more details how to turn on BOPAlgo check and how to check a part geometry.

Cut: resulting shape is invalid
Hello, I can't remove a cube from an array in the attached file. I get a "resulting shape is invalid" error. The file attached is a simplified version of what I'm working on, saved with FreeCAD 0.17. A first cut "020 Chevrons Cut" was done by removing "110 Vue en coupe"...
