Re: A new take on the UI. FreeCAD Nut.

Some here view that as a threat or treat it like some hidden secret cave which requires special permission to access. Not to forget those from the EU authorities who rate discord breaking european law. FreeCAD's community is bigger than an antiquated message board platform. And where would you sugg...

There are some discussions about how to improve this. Until then it is best to do it right  , where e.g. the Polyline tool is of grat help, as it creates the coincidences all by itself.

Re: Help with Pocketing

I wonder if wouldn't be better to fix some of the old sketcher issues instead of opening one can of worms after the other. I'm afrad that currently nobody understands how to fix the solver errors, there is still the void left by Abdullah.

Re: Integrated Assembly workbench

object should be just Active (same as PD body for example). Why did you need Edit mode for that purpose then, why not just set assembly active? Then, since it could be just one active object in a file we will not have problem saving this state, I guess. To stay consistent with Part and Body: these ...

Lucky you, no update available for my OS, but good to see that it is fixed.

Re: Help with Pocketing

Oh wait, the errors may be due to a heavy regression in 0.22.

Edit: No errors in 0.21.2. Sorry for the noise.

Re: Help with Pocketing

Strange, I don't see any error in my file..... This is what I see on opening your file: SnipScreenshot-e3d4e1.png A full recompute shows this in report view: 19:30:31 <Exception> Null face in AttachEngine3D::calculateAttachedPlacement()! 19:30:31 SketchLongGougeCutToe: Null face in AttachEngine3D::...
