Re: [Feature request] Loft improvement - PartDesign

How to force it to follow your profile? I don't understand your question, surfaces follow by them self. How to force it to be tangent to the other surfaces? The profiles for the gordons are children of the interpolate curves. And cut with the split feature (partWB), so they are tangent. But gordons...

:D

Re: Filling a Transition Gap Between Parts

OK, i didn't understand the purpose of your start parts. I've tried to build the transition surface by using a "bridge" (red) to give some thickness, otherwise the surfaces are too twisted. you can move the sketch to adjust the shape. Check out my file. ;) But the twist between two blades is too hig...

Re: Best way for first hand on FreeCAD 0.18 ?

I'm not sure to understand the drawing very well, but you can start like this: Choose the main axle of the object. Here can the Z axle. Then draw a first sketch to make the cylinder. Sketch will be on XY plane. You need to know the two diameters to constraint the circles. Select pad to extrude the m...

Re: Filling a Transition Gap Between Parts

Strange shapes your design! So, I slightly modified the sketch to not have blend curves crossing them self. The workflow is as that: Make faces using ruled surface (carry out nice surfaces), or if you have a lot of edges you must to use the filling feature (select second degree to get stretched surf...

Reversed option could help you. Isn't it?
