Re: Discussion about different approaches to working with DRAFT/ARCH/BIM
Hi, I share with you the desire to see the program improve in terms of ease of use. The announcements, which can be seen in the forum, of future changes in the methods of inserting windows go in this direction. However, some possibilities for changes to the project in the short term may already be p...

Re: IFC diff and IFC clash and BimServer
I also tried using IFC Diff, the utility found in Blender Bim. I exported two ifc files prepared with Freecad, the first with the original file, the second with the file to which I had made changes, and with IFC Diff I can immediately view the differences.
Other ways to do this?

Re: Wire: Move Point
In fact you can use enter to confirm the number. You can also slide the cursor while holding down the shift key so that you only have to enter one number because this blocks movements towards just one axis. (In fact, I too have always found it not immediately understandable. Perhaps it would be bett...

IFC diff and IFC clash and BimServer
Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to search for IFC differences and IFC conflicts. I found this workflow in the diagram I attach, but it seems to me that IFC diff and IFC clash can work with Blender. How does it work with Freecad? I also try to understand how to enter BIMServer to see how it works, b...

3d model to make different textures for each wall
HI, I experimented to prepare a model that allows it to be exported to ifc and then to be able to put different textures for each wall (the textures to be put with another program). Since an entire wall takes on a unique texture, one way I found to be able to separate it room by room was to create a...

example working method with basic sketch, and sheet for setting the heights, with files to download
hi, I load an example of a working method with a basic sketch and a sheet for setting the heights. - A basic general sketch with the plan of the building schematically traced and the measurements inserted; - Other sketches for the different elements of the construction that use the general sketch as...
