Re: [Maybe Bug] Problems on Boolean Operations

Thx for the help, I have redrawn the part and carefully avoided coplanar Faces. Now I was able to finish the part: great. :) One question is left: How I do run a "recompute all" in FreeCAD 0.18.4? I only know the right mouse on object -> mark for recompute. In the treeview part of combo view, right...

Re: [Maybe Bug] Problems on Boolean Operations

I think the problem was that your two cubes had coplanar faces, but I just ran a recompute all in the above FreeCAD version....the problem has now gone away.

Re: [Maybe Bug] Problems on Boolean Operations

All your problem come about because PartB is an invalid solid because its component Cut011008008029 is an invalid solid..... not sure why yet...by the way the "Part WB...Check Geometry tool" is improved in FreeCAD 0.19 dev branch....this below is the "daily" version on Kubuntu. OS: Ubuntu 18.04.3 LT...

Re: Bushfires in Australia

I propose to create an australian-european fire brigade, able to be displaced by boat (ro-ro) for the vehicles and water bomber planes, and plane for the firefighters. Two times a year, the brigade would be shifted to be positionned in summer in the right hemisphere. No doubt that young people with...

Re: Bushfires in Australia

Hi all I thought this post might help explain why I have been a bit stressed about these fires this time. If you want to see what it is like for an Aussie farmer who decided (wrongly) to stay and try to protect his house, watch this video. You will likely understand why I decided my plan was an earl...

Re: Bushfires in Australia

Exciting news! It rained here yesterday, it's now the second day in a row where the smoke has gone away. I can breath outside without a mask! :) The smoke has been obnoxious here for weeks/months with only a very few partly clear days. The Gospers Mountain fire is the largest of the fires east of me...

Bushfires in Australia

Hi everyone, this is obviously off topic for these forums however for several reasons I have decided to make this post. I made reference to these fires earlier in my Christmas message here is the link https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=41871#p355929 The fires had been extreme and had b...

Re: When Right-Hand and Left-Hand Helix get stuck

it may not be OK in general. For this part, being circular symmetric, it does not matter where the thread starts. On other designs, there may not be the freedom to shift the start point of a swept feature in this way. No, its almost never if ever a problem because its all about not having the threa...
