Re: Constraining B-Spline

Not sure if the results would suffice or not, but could you use a polyline then use the convert geometry to b-spline tool? I am on my phone so can't test, I think that tool might have arrived in 0.19, go to sketcher workbench in the wiki and it is there somewhere, maybe under bspline tools or someth...

Re: Unable to add dimension to new lines in Part Design

@chrisb I agree on auto remove. but since I couldn't test it, I was thinking the horizontal and symmetry in the first line was probably causing an issue. I was thinking the same but also point on object, . I like to draw lines that are not connected to any other, dimension them, and then join them ...

I cant thickness on this file (999.step)
It fails a Part Workbench Check Geometry test. So a thickness or any other operation is likely to fail.

I don't know why this was posted to the Install/compile forum, so I moved it to this Help forum.

Re: Help with multi dimensional box

Either pad base the walls separately i.e. each one in its own pad, or create a box with equal sides that match the tallest and just remove the excess material with a pocket on each.

Re: sketch placement

This is actually quite trivial. The sketch moves in its own coordinate system. Therefore a pure z-move should work. (If I understand what you want. ) Gene On first reading I agreed with Gene, was about to say the same, but now I see that you want the offset value on a vector that is not an ax...

I'm closing as 0.18 tickets are irrelevant.
That is definitely a good idea, thanks for doing so. :)

Re: Ticket #3945 - Can't move Preferences window under POP!_OS 19.04 (Ubuntu 19.04 based)

to see the buttons disappear I have to first go to PartDesign WB then I see it with PartDesign or Sketcher settings. the scroll bar does not allow me to drag the window down far enough to see the OK and cancel buttons. For me the answer is to simply make the preferences window full screen, then the...

I've tried that (but stayed within one document).
That defeats the purpose, you have to use a different document and depending on your hardware even make sure all other documents are closed.

Re: Black Boxes - Bug or Driver Issue?

You should try going back to FreeCAD default settings and confirm if the issue goes away or not , to do that rename your hidden FreeCAD directory and restart FreeCAD, it will then not find the config files and will then creat bew o es with all default values. You have a modified FreeCAD gui so it ma...
