Since I am very interested in FEM-wb and electrostatics especially, @marioalexis do you plan a summery and show the progress on what you will do? I searched the (FEM) forum and could not find any posts.

Re: Assembly3 preview

Hi, I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this so feel free to move this post. I have a body in an assembly. In this body i created a Datum-plane to align the body in another assembly. Now, when I select the Datum-plane and create an ASM3-Element out of it than the Element is shown on diff...

Re: Complex models needed for benchmarking

I do not know if this model is already available somewhere else but I simply recreated it because it is used in the wiki to explain TNP (https://wiki.freecad.org/Topological_naming_problem) Change in "Sketch001" the "Critical_dimension" from 5mm to -5mm and the model is broken. T...

Re: Complex models needed for benchmarking

This is the model TPN_model_Brodie_Fairhall.FCStd used in the video of Brodie Fairhall https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6p2vqEEmWq4 Changing the length of 'Pocket001 with critical length 'Length'=55mm' from 55mm to 45mm will trigger the TNP. Created and tested (yes it breaks) in: ``` OS: Ubuntu Core ...

Re: How to generate TechDraw Views from Sketches with different colors

I learned that it is possible to view sketches in TD by selecting them as additional source in the 'Source'-section of a view. The depicted sketch is placed in the x-z-plane. Unfortunately, the transition between hidden and visible parts of the sketch seems to not work correctly. Lines which should ...

New update: ... * MeshExpander Nice... Until now I did exactly such an expansion of a complicated mesh with blender (the mesh was a part of printable headphones https://www.print.plus/download). In FC the mesh import and afterwards Part-wb->"Create shape from mesh" did not work out. The i...

No, there are no builds from my side.

@uwestoehr: Uwe, since I am too long away and I currently have no time to dig into it, how much work do you think is it to transfer/rebase the old code for the current solver/equation?
