Excellent, thanks, looks like it should work well, I'll have a deeper look at that later.

Re: Open source licences

Thanks for the responses. Ultimately what I'd like is a 'curve-by-equation' to be available in a sketch, whereby the user can define multiple functions which are evaluated over the domain of a parameter to define a curve. This could end up being quite complex - my use for it previously required solv...

Open source licences

Hi. Returning after a long absence. I'm currently thinking about a little feature I used quite a lot back when I was using a commercial CAD package. I've only just started thinking about it so I don't really want to go into it until/if I have something to show. It will likely require using third par...

Re: drawing - centre of arc/circle

Thanks both. That's what I suspected. Just trying to print out some templates, I guess I'll maybe try some post-processing, by hand or perhaps inkscape, to pinpoint it. Nope, no coding for me at the moment, sorry! Anyway, having seen what Luke is working towards I think it'd be a bit silly to write ...

drawing - centre of arc/circle

Hi all. Firstly - wow! It's a good while since I actually used FreeCAD for a real part, and I'm stunned by the progress. I've been keeping an eye on the forums and have a vague idea what's been going on, but it's not until one has to use it in anger (albeit a very simple anger) that the changes real...
