Ubuntu DAILY PPA != Latest compile?

I have the freecad-daily ppa from https://launchpad.net/~freecad-maintainers/+archive/ubuntu/freecad-daily "active" - but this doesn't seem to bring in new updates, since some time back... What I have is... -vvv (Purge & Install today) - is there a new PPA for 0.19? OS: Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS Word size ...

Re: Workflow questions for 3D printing

Never seen the STL file type preselected, the last used folder is remembered while FreeCAD is running; Not sure if windows or 0.19 but here last exported file type is remembered and default folder after opening a file is its folder. 8<--- I have *never* seen it come up like that... OS: Ubuntu 16.04...

Re: Workflow questions for 3D printing

When I want to export the file to stl, I have to specify the filename and type each time Extension/file type on export is usually remembered. Which version do you use that does not remember that? Automatic naming is almost impossible. Should it be the current solid name? Or the name of the body? Wh...

@Hannu, it's a little hard to draw without overlapping construction geometry. I am thinking that it's precisely the point of construction geometry, as far as i know.
The idea I tried to communicate; avoid having construction geometry duplicate other parts.

Re: Sketches hiding construction geometry

Hmm... are you maybe drawing things like this? Then making the points coincident? TEMP.png ... by that you end up with duplicate lines, regardless if they are in construction mode or not. I'd say: avoid having more than one line per edge. First of all, duplicate lines are hard to keep apart - and wh...

Re: Marking PartDesign not properly attached datums

FWIW: I use glasses, a different pair depending on what I'm at - the latest pair received just a month ago or so. These tiny 'status indicators' isn't very helpful IMO. I can see there is one but have a hard time to distinguish between them. Suggestion: Might it be possible to "append" (a?) larger i...

Re: Measuring units (mess?)

Locale: Global is set to Swedish - I get most things "right" by that. What I dearly miss in the Swedish local i decimal POINTS (dot), which is why I mix sometimes. Comma is a list delimiter and nothing else. Apparently FreeCAD copes with my decimal points; the number crunching is correct from that p...
