Re: Plug-in for AUTODESK Inventor files

I have checked out the new version and I can confirm that it works now. Thanks! a customer of mine would like to switch from inventor to freecad. is it possible to import inventor data and continue working on the sketch level? You better ask jmplonka directly as I don't know how complete the Invent...

Re: Setup to debug OCCT

This is a workaround how I got it working: From the installation directory copy the folder "cmake" to the build directory underneath lin64/gcc/lib Copy the folder include to the build directory underneath lin64/gcc When configuring FreeCAD select for OpenCASCADE_DIR lin64/gcc/lib/cmake underneath th...

Re: Setup to debug OCCT

Hmm, that's bad. I don't know if there is any other way than copying the shared libraries to one of the standard search directories. In the meantime I have built occ from git with the above change. When I do ldd libTKGeomBase.so for the installed libraries it doesn't find the dependencies even if lo...

In the specific case of Wheel type event, Qt strongly recommends to explicitly accept() or ignore() the event (especially ignore() is important to ensure the event is pushed to parent). In eventFilter() you usually don't have to explicitly use accept() or ignore() because with the re...

Re: [reOpen] disable mouse wheel event on ComboBox

Most of the suggestions in the SO thread offer a way by sub-classing. IMO this is not a good alternative as it cannot be guaranteed that nowhere a QSpinBox or QDoubleSpinBox is used -- hence no consistent behaviour possible. One of the solutions offer a way without sub-classing but it still requires...

Re: old code repositories

would you have a look werner ... you might have some information more ... I don't know if there is really a gap. Have you seen any file where there are sudden changes that do not appear in a change set? IMHO we should move this in a separate repo on FreeCAD github? What do others think? IMO it's su...
