Re: Sub menu sizes ( for the want of a better term )

Thanks for responding to my query, unfortunately I have no idea how to make the changes you suggest in the Macro's dialogues as I do not understand the Python language in the slightest and would not know where to start.

Re: 4 cylinder steam engine

Sorry guys, Assembly file for this engine is 2,165 KB and is to large for me to upload.
As vocx noted most of my files are in FC V0.16, V0.17 was not stable on my machine and so had to wait for V0.18 which I am now using, I will upgrade to V0.19 when the stable release is available.

Re: Elmers Wooden beam engine

The parts were created in Part Design WB with the occasional use of Part WB for primitives, sweep and loft etc. where necessary.

Re: Elmers Wooden beam engine

The file of parts for this model is 6MB and so unable to post here, I used Assembly 2 in FC V0.16 and worked from the base up, after having created subassemblies of the Moving, con-rod and valve beams and also the crankshaft.

Re: The most efficient what to do this?

Not sure if this is what you are trying to achieve, as your pattern was not dimensioned or constrained I just guessed at final object. This comprises 3 files. The first is the tube, the second is the shape you wish to remove, the third is an assembly, importing the tube then the pattern shape, then ...
