Re: Spreadsheet / expression fixes for testing
The spreadsheet bug is claimed as fixed in Master, but I just built 0.16 r6335, and it's not only not fixed: it's even worse... Whether I call the original SpreadsheetXXX name or the spreadsheet alias, I can't get any cell content back. See attached file: - 3 spreadsheets - A1 in first non-renamed s...

Re: Spreadsheet / expression fixes for testing
OK, thanks: I'll go to the forums first next time.
It indeed doesn't exist for me in the drop down list: stops at 0.15. Maybe only dev accounts with commit rights can see it, or such a thing...jmaustpc wrote:Doesn't 0.16 exist in the drop down list for you?

Re: Spreadsheet / expression fixes for testing
Hi Eivind, I'm the one having reported that bug: just built your branch, and the problem indeed seems fixed. Thanks! On another note, as told in the bug report comments, when I created the report, I could not choose 0.16 or a revision build, hence why I omitted the version. I did precise in the text...

Re: Any way to have overlapping pattern work?
Thanks! It works indeed. Though I must confess I'm still not sure what the draft workbench really is about, even if I had already read about it...

Any way to have overlapping pattern work?
I need to draw overlapping conical holes (serve as buttons access, and the overlapping cones allow for an ergonomical ridge inbetween each button so to better separate them), but the pattern feature tells me overlapping is a problem... I basically create a cone profile in a sketch (easiest way for m...

Re: Expressions... again...
Thanks! It works great with that macro. I did realize the recompute icon was greyed out, but didn't search about macros to solve that.DeepSOIC wrote:Macro ForceRecompute?
Added it to the global toolbar, and it'll more than do. Thanks again!

Re: Expressions... again...
@wmayer : ah, it'd be kind of cool, indeed. Unfortunately, changes to the "main" spreadsheet are not applied automagically to all the expressions that call for it. It will only apply if I enter the dimension definition (eg, the thickness of an extrusion) and validate it. Funny thing is it ...

Re: Expressions... again...
Thanks: yeah, I saw that, but spreadsheets are included in the fcstd file. I was wondering about macros precisely so to share values between different fcstd files...
