Re: FreeCAD 0.19: macOS Big Sur: stuck on launch

Another issue: all of a sudden FC refuses to move anything in the tree view. That is I try to drag somthing into a group and it does not grab the element. I don't want to spam you. So please tell me if I should report elsewhere. But there's another thing: the dark mode is partially too dark pic2020...

Re: FreeCAD 0.19: macOS Big Sur: stuck on launch

Worked a charm :-) I temporarily switched to my Parallels Windoze and had to use the mouse. A real pain. Now back in business. Thanks! P.S. There seem to be some differnt quirks with that build (lots of PropertyPythonObject::toString(): failed for <class 'NoneType'> <class 'ValueError'>: call stack...

Re: FreeCAD 0.19: macOS Big Sur: stuck on launch

Hi, Thanks for all your work on this. With the caveat that I don't have much experience with Terminal or Homebrew here's what happened: First attempt ended in an error indicating my CLT did not support MacOS 11 :? . Second attempt, after downloading and installing current MacOS CLT package, went mu...

Re: FreeCAD 0.19: macOS Big Sur: stuck on launch

Just wondering: does Big Sur and migration to the M1 chip mean the end to FreeCAD running under Mac OS? Should I think about setting up a dual boot system with Linux? As there is at least one instance running there is hope, see https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=51345&start=10#p441848...

Re: Addon manager not working in v0.19 beta snap

I have installed the beta of v0.19 as I wanted to play with Assembly 4. I am on Kubuntu 20.04 so I can't the freecad-daily PPA. So I have installed with snap. When I open the add-on manager I can see all the packages, but if I click to "Install selected" the program hangs at "Cloning module". There...

Re: Discussion: State of the snap (Snap Packaging)

With a snap installation from the beta channel on Mint 20, I'm also unable to install Addons. Well, at least the Assembly4 addon. The Addon Manager is able to show the description of Assembly4, but installation is stuck at "Cloning module". Git is on my path. My user has write access to ~/snap. I d...

Re: Travis failing on all Pull Requests

We need to let the kill happens to fill up the build cache. Normally it is gently killed. You can restart it by submitting a slight change into your PR. It will go far much faster. If it goes up to the end (and it will), travis cache from master shall fill up and stay up to date avoiding that we ke...
