Re: Order of constraints is important

Thank you for your replies. @NormandC: Please believe me, that I did. As the evidence I've provided link to a problem which I've found reading this forum and searching information about order of constraint. As it was pointed out my assumption was wrong - it's not about order of constraint (what I've...

Re: Order of constraints is important

Thank you for your prompt reply. Sorry if my question is trivial, but how do you know that one of the contours is not closed; how have you found that? I'm asking this question to avoid this kind of drawbacks in future.

Kind regards, mslonik

Re: Another confusion with symmetry constraint

Thank you for very prompt reply. Is there any advised work-flow which let to omit this kind of drawback and confusion? I mean, for example, to put at first one kind of constraints before another? Or maybe there is best practise rule to verify a sketch?

Kind regards, mslonik

Order of constraints is important

Dear Forum, I've found the following accompanying information at this forum: http://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?t=13908&start=10 : However, users have also to learn to create robust sketches. Good constraints to use are: -Horizontal/vertical length. -Horizontal/vertical constraint. -Point...

Another confusion with symmetry constraint

Dear Forum, At first let me explain why do I entitled this thread as "another" confusion. Well, it's because I've found one very similar thread ( http://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?t=9189 ). Let me show you my problem and ask you for advise. My example is pretty abstract ( Exercise5...

Re: Tools -> Save picture, strange behaviour

@bejant: Indeed thumbnails were switched off by default. Then I changed one of my project files, saved document and used Dolphin to see thumbnails. But there are no thumbnails at all. Next I've created completely new project containing just simple cube. Still no thumbnails. So it looks like jmaustpc...

Re: Pocket operation, Through All, strange behaviour

Well, it seems that I was a bit too quick with posting at dev.opencascade.org. As I was informed: First of all, this is OCCT development forum, not OCE - it is unlikely you'll have some feedback from OCE developers on this forum (and OCE releases are not supported by Open CASCADE). The best way to r...

Re: Tools -> Save picture, strange behaviour

Look at your fcstd files in your operating system's standard file browser, i.e. in KDE "Dolphin" turn on thumb nail display which normally is by default, I think, for all file types, so when you look at a JPEG file etc. you see a thumb nail (small low resolution image of the image within ...
