Re: Improve Download page ideas (Take 2)

Nice proposal @AR795 and high level of consensus gathered fast as a result. ;) In previous discussions it was mentioned, from time to time, we likely need to attract capable designers to FreeCAD project. To progress some areas further. I guess we could try out such HTML page (for FreeCAD 0.18 releas...

Re: Can't constrain arc in sketch

And how did you create this sketch? There is something borked in it. I can confirm that. But then again if i manually recreate it (same geometry and constraints in a new sketch). Everything works as expected.

Re: Naming of FreeCAD version 0.18

I somehow feel we have the FreeCAD 0.19 name covered. Being Leonardo or Leonardo da Vinci can be decided latter. As for naming FreeCAD. I feel that majority in this thread expressed it would be a good thing. To continue to name FreeCAD releases. Therefore i don't see any special need to take a vote ...

Re: compile with py3 and Qt5 on Debian Stretch

More or less it comes down to providing PySide2. PySide2 will be available in Debian Buster. By default. Therefore for seamless FreeCAD compile experience you will likely need to wait another year (Debian Buster). ;)

Re: Ship WB problems and it's future in core (0.18)

But I guess forcing it to be included will give more testers. I somehow doubt that. ;) But I guess such changes are not good for the update-mechanism... So yes tell the testers to use the pip-tools. There i guess still is a problem of not enough users using Py3 builds. And therefore solutions such ...

Re: 0.18 two issues (treeview and zooming peformance)

I agree it would sometimes be nice to have a possibility of using a standalone Tasks panel (QDockWidget). Likely named Tasks view. Wanted to propose something like that in the past myself. As for duplicate code. Werner added Search capability to the Tree view (Combo View). I am guessing that left th...

Re: Arch Texture Workbench

Should Ground Image adapt when changing the Geometry parameters? As Panorama and Sky Images do. Based on the documentation i guess Ground Image shouldn't adapt. But i am guessing it would be nice to have control of its size?

Re: Naming of FreeCAD version 0.18

If we can gather reasonable amount of general consensus. I don't see a problem on why we shouldn't name a FreeCAD release. End users can still choose to use whatever part of the name they see fit. When talking about some version of FreeCAD.
