OS: Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS (XFCE/xubuntu) Word size of OS: 64-bit Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit Version: 0.19.23463 (Git) AppImage Build type: Re...

Re: Lead in out dressup for inside profile
Same think for me working with a plasma cutter: My needs/wish list: - chose a individually start point for every cut. - I think it could be a huge improvement for the path-WB, if the Profil operation shows the single individual cuts somewhere. Than its possible to optimize the cutting order, too. An...

Re: failed to pad multible cicles or shapes
Is very interesting and funny how many possibilities and opinions exists on how to design an simple object like a table. I'm start to thinking about the idea of having it similar to the "hello world" in other programms. I think a table and a chair would be a very good example, because this...

Re: failed to pad multible cicles or shapes
Yes, you must avoid the PartDesign WB, and use the Sketcher + Part WB's. You can create a custom toolbar in the Part WB and add the Sketcher tools to it. You will need to do a little extra work. For example a PartDesign Pad is = Part Extrude + Part Union. This is the beauty of FreeCAD. You can deve...

Re: failed to pad multible cicles or shapes
That was probably in 0.16, where it worked by some strange coincidence. Are shure that this is not a change some weeks ago? I always use the newest daily version, till the end of 2017, (and I very start to like this new part and body thing!) I did't noticed before about 2 weeks ago, that this is no...

Re: failed to pad multible cicles or shapes
That approach attempts to create two separate non-contiguous objects. That has never been allowed in the PartDesign workbench. Of course... I used this very often in nearly every freecad-design i did. This has become so handy for me over the time. (for example making a table with for legs half the ...
