Elmer and Z88 are still missing. Perhaps they will be less supported in later versions.
Do not spread lies.
Do you mind not using such incendiary language? I have seen you confidently state things that are false with much more certainty than is implied by "perhaps".

Re: Discussion: State of the snap (Snap Packaging)

I should have permissions to edit/etc the freecad snap as well as Jean-Marie, but I don't see any options on the snap page itself, the interface seems different from when I looked at it. You should be able to edit the snap here: https://dashboard.snapcraft.io/snaps/freecad/ Great, dashboard.snapcra...

Hi ppd, thanks for your effort in improving the snap package. I should have permissions to edit/etc the freecad snap as well as Jean-Marie, but I don't see any options on the snap page itself, the interface seems different from when I looked at it. Re: Some observations by a newbie

Calling this post a rant is pretty discourteous. Saying more experience is needed... then these wouldn't be the observations of a newbie, now would they?

Re: Add ons manager - development and bugs topic

Python in general being easier than Java is a point many would agree with, but in the particular case of refactoring I'm not so sure... static analysis and refactoring tools are a big part of the reason why people pick the language in the first place.

Re: FreeCAD integration into KDE context menu (Dolphin "Create New")

Hmm, interesting, so we could add a template which gets installed in /usr/share/templates as part of the Debian package and get this functionality...
