Re: Basic "easy" stuff?

Even worse, when I run the file on the machine, it's as if the drawing has been flipped 180 degrees on the Y axis, and it moves the table the wrong direction into the limit switch. WTH? It seems the motion commands are not set up correctly on your machine. FreeCAD works strictly with a standard rig...

Re: Finishing pass with the Helix toolpath?

Make sure that the preferences are set correctly. Edit >> Preferences >> Path >> Job Preferences >> Default Geometry Tolerance and Default Curve Accuracy I cannot tell you what they should be for you application, but try something tighter and see if the hole diameter behavior changes. You might also...

Re: Major grid line every: / grid for sketcher workbench

I do not believe the concept of major and minor grid lines is implemented in the Sketcher WB.

Re: Links go out of the allowed scope - warning mystery

It appears that most of those red arrows are due to sketches (or something unseen) trying to link to elements inside the body instead of to the entire body.

In general that will not work.

Re: Milling at two sides

I guess I do not really understand the problem. You should be able to spin the Model-Body (in Job-Bottom) to any orientation you want with the placement and/or attachment parameters. The Job dialog also has a number of useful movement and alignment options. I have done exactly that sort of reorienta...

Re: Inverted pocket

The sketch is on the "bottom", specifically the x-y plane. There is only one way the pocket can form from there.

I do not know what you tried to do, but the sketch is not on the "top".

Re: No Object Appears When Using Revolve Too Under Part

The revolve does not work when you spin a complete shape in the manner you are trying. You can cut the sketch in half along the y-axis and then it should work.

The revolved solid cannot intersect itself.

See the wiki for more details.

Re: units displayed in sketcher

There is nothing "customary" about "US customary." It is an obsolete system that has not been seriously used for a long time.

If you want to work in inch-based units switch to Imperial decimal. Sometimes Building units are more convenient for those working with architecture.

You might also try temporarily removing your style sheet. I recall something from a couple of weeks ago about a style sheet causing problems of this sort.
