Re: Missing surfaces in step export

This worked as a work-around, but does any one know if there is going to be a fix for the bug any time soon? There cannot be a fix until the problem is defined. You can start by including a sample file that shows the problem, along with the detailed steps you take to get the bad result. This topic ...

Re: Masso G3 Post Processers

I've been struggling with the issue of a post-processor for Masso on my onefinity Elite Journeyman using Freecad to surface my wasteboard. You did not respond to the ongoing discussion in your other current topic. In short, your sketch size is not what you said. It is bigger. You did not say what t...

I absolutely do not understand the point you are trying to make.

I suggested a proven method to overcome the redundant constraint.

The program already can fix the problem. What else do you want?

Re: Workaround for "ignored: macos mouse"?

While searching the forums for help, I noticed that, to me, two important search terms were ignored, preventing me from restricting the number of search hits. This is a well-known but unfortunate limitation of the forum software, which FreeCAD does not control. The solution is to use your favorite ...

That simply confirms what many suspected. I am not common.

Thank goodness!

The bug submission sticky is thoroughly outdated. It should be removed or rewritten. (A sticky should not have 5 pages of discussion!)

Re: FreeCAD compatibility with Python 3.12

I see this error message any time I try to "import" anything, either through a program line or directly by my action. DLL load failed while importing PathApp: The specified procedure could not be found. Traceback (most recent call last): File "D:\FreeCD\FreeCAD\FreeCAD_0.22\Mod\Path\...

Re: 3-d surface.

I would like to point out a bug that was discovered and was the cause of my torment - in the project shown, when there is only a solid, the first creation of a Path project can (exactly can) occur with the model created in one position (location) and the workpiece in another. This is what was causi...

Re: Openlibcam on freecad 0.21.1

There is no need at all to "install" OCL. It comes with FreeCAD distributions. The wiki is outdated in that it says to install OCL. That requirement was removed several years ago. What IS needed is to EnableExperimentalFeatures , as detailed in the wiki. https://wiki.freecad.org/Path_expe...

Turn on "Auto remove redundants".

Report back when you actually have a problem from doing this.

I think that cautions against the auto behavior are seriously overstated.
