To include Link support in ASM2+ has been discussed earlier, The conclusion was that support for link should be implemented when Link got merged. so soon ish ;)

congratulation on getting Link merged, i guess you still have a lot of work to do before the Link merge sinks in among the developers, what is the plan for toponaming? will you wait until 0.20 to make a PR? how big do you think toponaming PR will be?

If everyone is so sure about this, then I wonder why everyone was not already using asm3 builds before? Where are all the users? Where are all the projects? While playing with the branch I did not really understand the purpose of the LinkGroup. As for the URDF workbench, currently its rather a SDF workbench, and I currently use pybullet rather than gazebo. but development progress is slow and sporadic. but hopefully will speed up a bit now that i am actually working on a robot project.
