Pardon, as I am unable to copy from the FreeCAD-daily clipboard as it never opens.
I am using Ubuntu 18.04.
FreeCAD is updated to latest version.
Hi @marvellouschandan,

Download pre-compiled FreeCAD from https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/rele ... g/0.18_pre.

Re: GSoC 2019

The project ideas we had for previous years are still valid I would say. Maybe we could add a couple of new ones, maybe something related to documentation? I'll also add a BRL-CAD/FreeCAD integration idea... Hi Yorik, Happy new year to you and the whole FreeCAD family! :D If any student wishes to w...

Re: Porting rebar addon to Python3 PyQt5

Try using a common QComboBox instead of a PrefComboBox widget maybe... In Qt5, orientation method is added to QtGui.QDialog box and I used the orientation as the name of PrefComboBox object. So, here built-in method was overrode the PrefComboBox object. Changing the name of PrefComboBox from orient...

Re: list index out of range

I can put straight rebars. But on putting vertical straight rebars or stirrups, I am getting error: Out of range. What solution can be there? See below signature. Issue is same on FreCAD.17 on Linux, but it works fine on .18 (not testing on .17, but expected that it will work) on MSWindows. I have ...

@amrit it works with command line and therefore it didn't have any problem with python3, but some minor change need for pyqt5 to work and show panel.

Thanks.
Congratulations guys!, now rebar addon supports QT5 and Python3. You may try this.

Thanks,

Re: Compile FreeCAD with Python3 on MacOS

Are you suregl.h is there and it can be found? Hi Yorik, Yes, OpenGL already installed as it comes with XCode. Also running make VERBOSE=1 will print the full compiler commands, that can be useful to investigate too. But in this case it seems to me that the file is simply not present on your system...
