Re: compile with netgen for FEM meshing

Hello! Or do you really need the latest master to compile with the salomesh version inside freecad? But what exactly has changed that this does not work anymore? Yes, something has changend since Netgen 6.2.1810. I have OCCT7.4.0, so i need an updated netgen. They have implement this changes in the ...

Re: Part Design Hole Inbusschraube bündig Versenken

Hallo!

Re: Multi-solid vs single solid question, for Part Design

Hello! my two cents ..... My workflow is like, that a position of a BoM should always be a part, not a body. A part can always contain more bodys with different materials. Minimum example: bearings. But also couplings, sealings, high torque nuts, etc. have more than one body with different materials...

Re: compile with netgen for FEM meshing

I tried to compile the master of netgen [https://github.com/NGSolve/netgen] today (Debian 10) for FreeCAD, but no success because of pybind11 (error in cmake for pybind11 in netgen). But they have updated the master for OCCT7.4.0.

Re: App::Link: the big merge

Hello! I included some work on disambiguation in the Expression. The user must now explicitly uses the double angle bracket to indicate that you are referring by a label, either document label or object label. I might have known it. It is pretty common that expressions referencing to its label. My p...

Re: Discussion: slow down in document loading and recomputing

Hello! @user1234, why do you put a TechDraw Page inside a Std Part? There are more reasons why i do that. 1. That is common in pretty every commercial CAD System, a kind of habituation for me. 1.1 A drawing depends on a part, both should always be together. So both is fixed together, see --> 2. 2 If...
