Re: decimal separator mismatch for tolerances

Hello! To be honest, i think all restrictions about the fields should fall. I came from the repair construction side. Often there are many same parts with many different abrasion to repair. Then you make one drawing for all parts with catergories and tolerance tables. Then there is no upper toleranc...

Re: Threads in TechDraw

I would do this with a CompSolid. 1.png 2.png 3.png In the TechDraw drawing i edited the lines (hided some, added some, set properties) and after that, it looks OK. Only when - assembled, then it is a little bit more to do - the circle must be done per python console see https://wiki.freecadweb.org/...

This is because your Thread() instance is garbage-collected.
Your last line should be:

Re: issues with region meshing and jac < 0 (0.19dev master)

Just a follow up, if someone had the same issue. I downloaded the newest gmsh from here https://gmsh.info/ , and used that and not the lod from the repositories (work without compiling, just link on the FreeCAD Edit --> Preferences --> FEM --> Gmsh (FEM WB must be opend before). The new mesher works...

Re: PR #4074 The section cut feature

Hello! This would be an nice feature. For example if you had to repetitive inspect always the same section while constructing or assembling. Like an object with source (child objects), directions, and settings (like TechDraw). Other CAD progams have also similar functions. But an boolean cut is the ...

issues with region meshing and jac < 0 (0.19dev master)

Hello! I have an issue with meshing regions because some of them have jac < 0. When i start meshing with regions, i get an error in the terminal, see: Active analysis found: Analysis ElementDimension: 3 Group meshing for analysis is set to true in FEM General Preferences. Are you really sure about t...

Re: Sauberen Spline zwischen 2 unterschiedlichen Kreis-Bögen

Hallo! Danke, wieder was gelernt. ... Klothoide: https://forum...

Re: build.make:263: /solver_3d_ext1.cpp.o] Error 1

First off all, BUILD_ASSEMBLY:BOOL=OFF , because without external AddOns assembly is not possible at the moment. Maybe there are more settings to set, but this is the obvious (for people who complie FreeCAD al lot). I also think this BUILD_MATERIAL:BOOL=ON is not supportet at the moment. Second, the...
